Summer of 2020, Juicy Fruit Land was pumping out a serious amount of food! Watermelons, pumpkins, zucchini, squash, tomatoes, onions... Now, I have witnessed first hand what poof dirt can do if you amend it properly! It's totally workable! The beautiful Desert Willow tree in the middle attracts hundreds of bees, birds, and other pollinators. I was very surprised with the outcome. However, as with all things farming, I see ways that I can improve this land, and turn it to a beautiful Food Forrest. Maybe beautiful enough to shoot family portraits? After this season is over, I have major construction planned for this area! Stay tuned!
